| Day 5, 8/3 Monday: | Leave Yellowstone late morning, drive 6-7 hours to Buffalo, WY, in the Big Horn Mountains. That night we'll be stay at the Arrowhead Motel (307.684.9453). | |
| Day 6, 8/4 Tuesday: | Visit Devils Tower National Monument in the morning, drive through Sundance, WY, Spearfish, Deadwood, scenic route 385, Rapid City, and settle at Rocket Motel (605.673.4401) in Custer, SD. At 9pm we will view the laser show at Mt. Rushmore National Memorial, which is half hour from where we stay. We are now in the midst (August 3-5) of the 58th Annual Sturgis Rally & Race, which is a huge Harley Davidson Motorcycle event. It is said during the three day event, lodging facilities within a 75 miles radius are all sold out. | |
